Problem
The client needed to sell experiences run by local hosts to overseas travelers, but booking and payment went through separate channels, so settlement and cancellations were handled by hand.
Constraints
- Payments had to be accepted in KRW, JPY and USD, and each currency used different payment methods.
- Travelers, hosts and admins each saw different screens in different languages.
- There was no budget to build the web and app separately.
Solution

The app reuses the screens built for the web, and only the 41 screens that truly needed native behavior were built natively. Sharing code between web and app kept costs down.

Payments go through a single payment gateway, with each currency's payment methods connected separately.

Language coverage differs by screen: traveler screens in English and Japanese, host screens in Korean and English.

The data used by each of the 41 native screens was documented and handed over, so another developer can take over later.
